Transformational Leadership
A 2-day Workshop on Leading in Times of Change & Uncertainty

Introduction
Organisation in Asia face challenges that are uniquely different from the experiences faced in the West. The major challenges include the need to groom young and less experienced talents to become managers (and leaders) within a very short period of time in a rapidly changing economy. There are also the challenges of managing operations with a very mobile workforce in a workplace that is constantly competing for the best talents.

In Transformational Leadership, the key word is to transform - transforming achievement of results through Compliance to achieving results from Commitment. The key difference between a committed worker and compliant worker is sustainability.

Transformational leadership is about achieving sustainable results through personal growth and development. Transformational leadership ensures development in the following areas:

Vision
Envisioning where they are going or what they are going to achieve.
Communication
Communicating plans in a way that generates enthusiasm for team members to share the vision.
Building Trust
Build a climate of trust, which encourages openness, the willingness to change and learn, as well as commitment to plans.
Self Initiation
Leaders exercise self initiation and demonstrate commitment.

Objectives
This 2-day workshop consists of a series of learning experiences, each having a distinct objective and each focusing on fundamental skills necessary for success as a leader.

The major objectives of this workshop are:

To equip managers with leadership skills and prepare them to manage change in their organisation from time to time.
To transform the managers mindset/ focus to become more people-centric and not merely task-centric.
To enhance the way managers communicate in order to achieve a higher level of performance.
